Happy Fennel Friday!
I have found over the past few days that Fennel pollen and Fennel are an incredible addition to many of my holiday favorites. Fennel enhances dishes – boosts the flavor and gives it an edge that has your guests wondering what is in your recipe. Plus, with all of the healthy benefits of fennel, we can feel good about eating it in all forms.
A Few Easy Holiday Uses for Fennel:
- If your recipe calls for celery, swap out half of the celery for fennel for a light, fresh infusion
- Use Fennel Pollen to finish dishes – especially gratins, mashed potatoes, pastas with cream sauce
- Veggies love Fennel Pollen and Pollen Ranch blends – Zensational had my guests exclaiming in delight over the roasted potatoes
- Serve roughly chopped Fennel on your veggie platters as an appetizer – it adds in digestion & makes an unique addition to the same old veggie platters
What are your favorite ways to use fennel, especially during the holidays?
